Killswitch Engage an insane band on stage? I take it you haven't seen The Dillinger Escape Plan live...

Haha true, when it comes to insanity Slipknot and Killswitch Engage probably wouldn't even range on my top 100.

Erhm, ye I have seen Dillinger, twice actually. and yes, they are nuts on a stage. But the sense of humor and loseness that adam d and KsE brings is just awesome.. They are a fantastic live band, witch haven't been seen on a big venue here in denmark besides Store Vega witch I attended.... So I can't see a bigger oppertunity to for Roskilde to get them this year.

IF we should have anymore metal/rockbands?? What the f*ck are you talking about mate Huh Huh

We have just 10 or so now, need another 80 - 90 bands of this BROAD genre. Forget all the hype crap that will be forgotten in 5 years

well Im just saying. we have practicly nothing for the electronic, hiphop or soul scene.
and we have quite alot of the long-haired dudes screaming and headbanging to powerchord-riffing. For now at least..ofcourse we should have more rock. and Im not saying that it shouldn't be anymore metal at RF 09, Im just saying for now i think we have enough. Smiley

We could do with one more hardrock/metal headliner Smiley Like Motörhead or Heaven and Hell!
A couple of Semi-headliners would be nice too!
I dont think we have THAT many heavy bands really...Slipknot, Satyricon, Down, Amon Amarth, Darkane Cancer Bats, Skambankt? Only Slipknot is a headliner out of these.. And only Down and maybe Satyricon are semi-headliners in my eyes... So we could do with a big metal act Wink
But get in some electro first!

well, okey Im with you on that we could do with some bigger names, but the part when you say you don't think we got THAT many names, what is it like 7 band, and how many is released so far 20 something. it like 1/3. And what i recall there isn't just three music genres out there? So I would say; for now we got plenty

So far Hove Festival has 13 bands, 5 are metal.. And 3 or 4 of the metal bands are headliners/semi-headliners

Noticed Opeth are playing 7 shows in Sweden and 8 in Norway, but are not booked for a single one in Denmark apparently.

Opeth, Cult of Luna & Witchcraft would be great swedish musical contributions at RF 09.

Somehow, yes. After the first album, it all just sounded the same (to me).
