Experience the two-in-one event 'Dance & Action for Gaza' at Dancefloor, where we unite in movement and solidarity with the Palestinian people. Visual protests and street activism are deeply rooted in Palestinian culture and the struggle for freedom. At this event, we show solidarity by delving into the cultural heritage of Palestine.

We begin by highlighting Palestine's rich culture through the rhythms of mawwal music, as the dance group Olive Branch teaches us dance steps to Palestinian folk music. Following this, we will come together in a Human Banner Action, where we share the message of peace and compassion for the Palestinian people.

ActionAid Denmark is a movement that fights for a more just and sustainable world. In relation to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, they have called for the protection of civilians, humanitarian aid, respect for international law, and worked to unite people instead of dividing them.

Olive Branch is a Palestinian cultural heritage group that focuses on Palestine's rich cultural heritage through Palestinian dance. They perform at events around Denmark and have organized many folk-dance workshops for children, young people, and adults.
