TUESDAY 2 JULY

Embroider your dreams while listening to inspiring audio stories

  • Tuesday 2 July
    11:30, Flokkr

Engage yourself in a universe of creativity and immersion as embroidery and audio storytelling merge in a tranquil space amidst the festival's wonderful hustle and bustle.

Følsomt Broderi and Københavns Radiobiograf have teamed up for this workshop, where dreams will be the recurring theme of both what you'll embroider and listen to.

Embroidery novices and experts alike are welcome as Kris Jensen from Følsomt Broderi teaches freehand text embroidery and helps you find your own poetic expression. While you create your own little embroidery artwork, Københavns Radiobiograf contributes to the dreamy atmosphere with captivating audio stories.

For over ten years, Københavns Radiobiograf has created unique audio experiences. Among many others, they have presented stories by the Danish podcast producer Third Ear and the international podcast and radio star Ira Glass from the American podcast This American Life.

Følsomt Broderi consists of Kris Jensen, who shares his embroideries on Instagram and has hosted numerous embroidery workshops in Copenhagen. He typically embroiders texts about his own life, about hope, change, uncertainties, and life's big and small challenges.

Practical:
There are embroidery kits for 100 participants. Embroidery kits consist of a piece of fabric, an embroidery hoop, and needle and thread. When the workshop is over, you can take the set with you.
