With roots in Baltimore's punk and hardcore scene and members of Turnstile and Trapped Under Ice, Angel Du$t have been exploring a wide range of styles in an innovative rock universe since the release of their debut album A.D. 10 years ago. Without regard for genre conventions, the band embraces poppy melodies, acoustic elements, noisy punk guitar, and quirky experiments.

Leading the band's delightfully unpredictable escapades is vocalist Justice Tripp (Trapped Under Ice). Together with musicians from like-minded band Turnstile, he launched Angel Du$t in 2013 with a vision to explore a love of 80s rock and power pop without sacrificing the anti-conformist ethos of punk.

That vision came to fruition in 2019 when they were signed to Roadrunner Records and released the critically acclaimed album Pretty Buff. “Angel Du$t are here, and the fun is back in punk", The Line of Best Fit concluded about the album. And ever since, Tripp and his bandmates have been doing everything they can on record and on stage to prove that punk can be melodic, unpredictable, and wildly entertaining.

Most recently, they have released the album Brand New Soul, which continues the band's unpretentious, but also thoroughly musical, zapping between punk, alternative rock anthems, power pop, surf rock and weird sound collages. A formula that is sure to make for one of the most entertaining rock concerts of the year at Roskilde.
