BALMING TIGER^KR

Although Balming Tiger is usually categorized under the K-pop tag that has taken the world by storm in recent years, the artistic collective is not easily pigeonholed. The members come from many different backgrounds, and it shows in music that blends K-pop with an experimental mix of hip-hop, R&B, alternative rock and more. 

Self-described as "digital shamanism", Balming Tiger don't limit themselves to being original musicians. In addition to the performers on stage, the collective consists of visual artists, video directors and producers. 

This makes Balming Tiger a creative beehive that can let the many ideas flow freely and create a unifying experience of music and visuals, which greatly benefits their epic concerts. The collective has gained a strong following among both dedicated K-pop fans and alternative music listeners with their original expression and energetic shows. 

In 2023, they created a huge party at the American festival SXSW. The same year saw the release of their debut album January Never Dies, an excellent introduction to the group's unique and versatile style, which can be heard at Roskilde Festival this summer.
