Already when she gave a dazzling concert at Roskilde Festival in 2022, it was clear that we witnessed a new Danish pop star of a rare kind. 

Good pop craftsmanship goes hand in hand with Bathsheba's ability as a songwriter to delve deep into the emotional depths of her songs, grabbing you by the heart while your body surrenders to the sparkling productions. 

She debuted in 2020 with the Benal-produced single "Blind" and has since released a string of powerful singles as well as the acclaimed EPs As of Right Nowand Disc 1: To Catch Your Tears, which further expands Bathsheba's ballad-pop universe. In the spring, Disc 2 will be released, offering a more club-oriented and dance-infused counterpart, marking the latest chapter in her meteoric career. 

Both the intoxicating highs of love and the sorrowful lows of loss are conveyed by a first-class voice, and Bathsheba's songs touch on personal narratives as well as socially critical thoughts. She has a lot on her mind, but also manages to create a genuine pop party at her concerts, and we can look forward to that when she returns to Roskilde with her excellent band.
