Rooted in the Colombian picó scene with its street parties and massive sound systems, Bclip brings an experimental and eclectic sound to the modern Latin American music scene.

The raw nature of the music draws inspiration from his own upbringing in the ghetto of Soledad, Atlántico, and at the same time, the almost melted-down productions offer Bclip’s vision of a Latin music from a near dystopian future.

It is music that stands in solidarity with society's outcasts, while at the same time distancing itself from the lighter and pleasing parts of Latin music. Instead, Bclip serves up a warped and futuristic landscape where Afro-Colombian folklore and reggaeton rhythms merge with inspirations from hard house, IDM, and black metal.

A potent and challenging mix that he now brings to Roskilde Festival when he performs as part of Rosa Pistola's curated reggaeton program at Apollo.
