The duo Decisive Pink brings the pioneering spirit back to modern electropop as they embark on a cosmic journey into a world of post-punk experimental delight, krautrock synth escapades and shamelessly good pop melodies.

They've dubbed the term "krautrock-gone-synthpop" and when the duo, consisting of Angel Deradoorian of Dirty Projectors and Russian electronic musician Kate NV, released their first single, The Guardian enthusiastically described it as: "A space-age dancefloor swoon that brings to mind Kate Bush's Waking the Witch".

The debut album, cheekily titled Ticket to Fame, has also received excellent reviews, such as from The Quietus, who wrote: "Extremely fun and rewarding". Decisive Pink, whose name is inspired by Kandinsky's painting of the same name, is a colorful and imaginative exploration of electronic pop music, born out of jam sessions in a studio in Cologne, which the duo have described as a spaceship full of synths, and vocals recorded from a small closet in a downtown LA apartment.

This playful approach is also taken to the stage, where Decisive Pink have garnered praise for their show at Le Guess Who, among others. Now the synth spaceship lands in Roskilde, where a spaced-out pop revelation awaits.
