Shortly after Frank Carter, who had previously played in Gallows and Pure Love, launched his new punk outfit Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes in 2015, he visited Roskilde Festival. In 2016, Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes gave a concert that the audience won’t easily forget. And Carter himself acknowledged the audience's fighting spirit by proclaiming it his best concert to date.

Roskilde Festival witnessed a frontman who truly invested himself in the concert and who demonstrated outstanding audience contact. And it's concerts like this that have helped earn Carter the title of modern punk's greatest showman.

It doesn't hurt that he and guitarist Dean Richardson have a knack for forging songs that fuse the roots of punk and hardcore with infectious power pop, alternative rock and classic rock'n'roll.

On the band's new album, Dark Rainbow, which landed in early 2024, Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes once again showcase new nuances of their sound on reflective and complex songs that embrace both southern gothic ballads and soul crooning, but of course also plenty of ragged guitar rock and punk nerve. With the new songs under their belt, Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes are once again ready to deliver a sublime rock experience at Roskilde Festival.
