With strong vocals and a soulful, almost gospel-sounding tone, Fridayy has become a sought-after artist throughout the hip-hop and R&B scene. His voice has shone on tracks from artists such as Lil Baby and DJ Khaled. 

It was on the DJ Khaled song "God Did" (2022) that Fridayy's breathtaking voice truly reached a larger audience, and it seemed only natural that the still relatively unknown name would guest on the track alongside stars like Jay-Z and John Legend. 

Fridayy is of Haitian descent and grew up in Philadelphia, where he started his career producing vocal samples for other artists. However, after the success of 'God Did', he quickly made a name for himself as a solo artist. In 2022, he released his debut EP on Def Jam, and in 2023, his debut album followed, which not only showcases his amazing vocals, but also reveals him as a songwriter and producer of stature. Fridayy’s gospel-inspired R&B with elements of Afrobeats will no doubt make for an uplifting concert experience at Roskilde.
