A giant of Danish music takes over Roskilde Festival when Gilli enters the Orange Stage. His infectious sound, mixing hip-hop with huge pop choruses and elements of reggaeton and afrobeat, has dominated Danish charts with bangers like "Kender Ik' I Morgen", "Kolde Nætter", "Ibiza", and "Verden Vågner".
His unerring feel for chart topping hits has made him the most streamed artist in Denmark multiple times, and the rapper has also received a slew of awards and critical acclaim. While making himself a chart-topping king, he has also helped define Danish hip-hop for over a decade as part of the trio B.O.C. with Kesi and Benny Jamz, who finally released a joint album in 2021 with Mere End Musik. The following year, Gilli released no less than two strong albums under his own name in the form of Carnival and Suave World.
It's fair to say that the rapper’s creativity is on fire these days. At the same time, with some of the biggest concerts of his career, he has demonstrated that he is not only a master of the hit single, but that he is also capable of delivering a magnificent concert experience. It is therefore a great pleasure for Roskilde Festival to welcome Gilli, and a solid sing-along experience is guaranteed when his hit parade unfolds in the summer night on the Orange Stage.
