Ice Spice has quickly become a sensation in American hip-hop. In just a few years, the young Bronx rapper has gone from a viral phenomenon, deftly using various SoMe platforms to break through the sound barrier, to an artist collaborating with the heaviest names in the industry and garnering numerous awards.

The world began to take notice of Ice Spice's drill-inspired tracks in 2022, when she released a strong string of singles and Drake announced himself as a fan. Early 2023 saw the release of her debut EP Like...?, which, despite lasting less than 15 minutes in total, stood out as one of the year's essential hip-hop releases.

Indeed, 2023 has been a banner year for the hip-hop comet, who has appeared on Doja Cat's Scarlet tour, collaborated with the likes of Taylor Swift and PinkPantheress, and contributed to the Barbie-soundtrack with the smash hit collaboration with Nicki Minaj on a reinterpretation of Aqua's "Barbie Girl".

She herself seems to be taking the dizzying journey to the pinnacle of hip-hop with nonchalant charm. It can be hard to keep up with the pace at which she continues to spit out hits. But one thing is certain: A breathtaking hit parade awaits when Ice Spice visits Roskilde this summer with her first Danish show ever.
