From smooth retro soul and R&B to Latin pop, bossa nova and reggaeton. American-Colombian Kali Uchis is a modern icon who embraces a wide spectrum of pop's nuances, and who has thrilled critics and audiences alike since her successful debut album Isolation from 2018. Just a few months after the release of Isolation, the shining star gave her only Danish concert to date at Roskilde Festival.

Isolation appeared on several year-end lists for 2018, and when she released the Spanish-language album Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) in 2020, she demonstrated that not only does she have the ability to switch between many different styles, she also convincingly embraces the two languages and cultures she is rooted in. The album included the huge hit "telepatía" - a song that was named Top Latin Song of the Year at the Billboard Music Awards that same year.

Kali Uchis has collaborated with notable artists such as SZA, Tyler, The Creator and Gorillaz, to name but a few, and with her new album, Red Moon In Venus, she comes across as a contemporary soul diva, exploring an almost cosmic love and sensuality with lush arrangements and stunning vocals.

The album has already had critics swooning, but Uchis is not an artist resting on her laurels. She has just announced her upcoming Spanish-language album Orquídeas, set for release in early 2024. The timing couldn’t be better when she finally returns to Roskilde Festival!
