The kid gloves are packed away when Norway's Kvelertak take the stage with their hard-hitting expression and action-packed shows that always gets the crowd going.

Their energetic and celebratory blend of punk, black metal and dirty rock'n'roll has made them a stalwart act at numerous festivals around the world, and the crowd at Roskilde has also experienced high wave action several times when Kvelertak has hit the festival, most recently in 2016.

The Stavanger band made their heavy entrance on the music scene in 2010 with their self-titled debut album, produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge) and featuring bangers like "Mjød" and "Sultans of Satan". A string of strong releases and tours with the likes of Metallica and Foo Fighters have followed.

Kvelertak has just released another potent album in the form of Endling. And with it, the sextet is ready to throw another brutal party at Roskilde. With a solid wall of guitar - less than three guitarists can't do it - and their unrivaled blend of heavy metal and catchy rock'n'roll, they create a physical experience you won't soon forget.
