Lamin already looked like one of Danish hip-hop's new superstars when he gave a supreme show at Roskilde Festival in 2022. Since then, the Gambian-Danish rapper has only continued his winning streak, and at this year's Roskilde Festival, he'll kick things up a notch when he opens the Orange Stage! 

Denmark first heard of Lamin's talent when he released the singles "Tiger" and "Trabajo" in 2019. Since then, he has taken home one hit after another, not least in a close collaboration with Artigeardit, with whom he has released the smash hit "Hvor Fuck Er Min Drink?" 

Shortly after his concert at Roskilde in 2022, Lamin released his successful album Kronisk Skeptisk, which quickly hit the top of the Danish album charts with strong productions, sharp punchlines and a host of guests such as Kesi, Icekiid and Giift. The album also featured the song "The Wave", which has given its name to the fan movement "Ride The Wave". 

Lamin's strong connection to his fans characterizes the rapper's concerts, which elevate to pure energy explosions. We predict that the sea of people will be boiling when Lamin conjures up a massive wave in front of the Orange Stage this summer, and that a solid handful of notable guests will take to the stage for a huge hip-hop party.
