Tokyo band Lovebites have thrown themselves into a genre of music that in itself is synonymous with speed, tempo and larger-than-life attitude - and then just turbo-charged it!

With song titles like "Holy War", "Set The World On Fire" and "Dancing With The Devil", they deliver an explosive display of power metal with elements of old school heavy metal, speed metal and thrash. Guaranteed to deliver big choruses, epic drama and galloping turbo metal with symphonic pomp and guitar shredding, the entertainment value is high, and like Japanese valkyries dressed in white, the band rides all the clichés of the genre while delivering blistering pace and technical prowess.

Lovebites was formed in 2016 by members of the Japanese metal band Destrose. The following year they released both The Lovebites EP and their debut album Awakening from Abyss, and since then they have played numerous concerts and released a number of critically acclaimed albums, with the 2023 release Judgement Day as the latest.

They've quickly become a phenomenon in their home country, and international audiences have also had to bow to Lovebites as they've delivered powerful shows at some of the world's biggest metal festivals. Expect an explosion of heroic metal grandeur at Roskilde, where the band will play their first Danish show ever.
