LOVER’S SKIT^SE

Both in their native Sweden and at festivals across Scandinavia, the duo Lover's Skit have already created quite a musical sensation with their reckless expression and powerful juggling of a multitude of genres.

Nathalia Aránguiz and Ove Jerndal were both only 18 years old when they rocked By:Larm in Oslo in 2023 with one of the most talked about shows at the festival that year. It was here that the world really got a taste of the duo's unorthodox mix of post-punk nerve, catchy hooks and references to 90s breakbeat icons like The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. And they certainly got a taste of the young duo's intense live energy which you just have to surrender to.

The verdict from Danish music magazine Soundvenue was clear after the festival: "It was the best concert I saw at the entire festival. The second best was when I saw them again two days later." With raw power and unbridled creativity, Lover's Skit create an extraordinary live experience, not only thanks to their gritty sound, but also thanks to Aránguiz's ripping vocals that carry echoes of the riot grrrl movement and electroclash music.

The energy is excellently conveyed on the duo's debut EP from 2023, which can be used as a warm-up for Roskilde Festival, where Lover's Skit will finally play their first Danish concert.
