Paydar is ready to deliver a wild and inclusive dance party as the eclectic musical adventurer unfolds their musical universe at Roskilde Festival! 

Raised in Denmark as the child of Iranian refugees, Paydar has made a name for themselves as a fantastic DJ who draws on a rich mix of musical and cultural references, as well as performing as part of the artist collective Final Planet, who performed a large-scale electronic extravaganza at last year's Roskilde Festival. 

It will certainly also be extravagant when Paydar performs in their own name with a hybrid set that will feature live elements focusing on tracks from an upcoming EP, accompanying video storytelling, performance choreography from Paydar and a guest appearance from singer Arshia. 

However, Paydar's mastery of the DJ mixer will also come into play at this special Roskilde performance, where curiosity and presence are paramount, and where Paydar draws on elements of both futurism and nostalgia, weaving threads from hip-hop, Persian pop, African amapiano, Arabic house and Brazilian baile funk to create a cohesive, danceable experience that you really don’t want to miss.
