Young Manchester band Porij have an unerring ability to craft tracks that take the best of indie pop and rave culture and unite them in dreamy dance euphoria.

Formed in 2019, the band's mixtape Breakfast the following year earned them solid hype on the UK music scene with unashamedly catchy and danceable songs, where indie-sounding guitars and classic pop melodies surfed on a rocking bed of house, electro funk, drum 'n’ bass and UK garage.

The band is extremely well playing both live and on their releases, but the music also has a handheld DIY charm that, along with a personal lyrical universe, gives their often dizzying juggling of genres both depth and integrity.

After a string of strong singles and EPs, acclaimed festival appearances and a series of support shows for Coldplay, the band is finally ready to release their debut album, Teething. This summer, the band, dubbed "Manchester's most danceable new band" by NME, will bring the new songs and infectious pop party to Roskilde.
