STRICTLY SILK^ZA

We are thrilled to welcome Kenyan party concept Strictly Silk to the Apollo as resident DJs on the last day of this year’s Roskilde Festival.

Strictly Silk is a party concept conceived by Kenyan artist collaborative The Nest Collective. Since 2018, under the Strictly Silk banner, they have invited women, trans and non-binary people of all origins, faiths and generations into a community focused on joy, safety and, not least, dance.

At this year's festival, on Monday 1 July, you can experience Strictly Silk at a panel discussion at Flokkr, and on the last day of the festival, you are invited to party with them at Apollo. Strictly Silk also serves as a central platform for DJs and artists with roots in the community and party culture that Strictly Silk has created. 

At Roskilde Festival, three of these DJs will keep the party going when Strictly Silk presents DJ sets from DJ IV, DJ Miss Ray and Ziggie. A rare chance to experience Strictly Silk's activist and progressive party culture on Danish soil.
