"Making metal disturbing again" is Tallah's mantra. The Pennsylvania band's mission is to take both band and audience outside of their comfort zone, and with breakneck shows and songs that hit the listener with a violent and unpredictable energy, they do what they can to summon chaos.

The band's latest album, The Generation of Danger (2022), is a conceptual album about a mad scientist. It seems a fitting theme for a band that unabashedly mixes a toxic green cocktail of industrial soundscapes, deathcore, punk and nu metal, knowing very well that it could explode at any moment.

Both The Generation of Danger and their debut album Matriphagy (2020) were released on British label Earache, who have been pushing extreme music to the edge for decades. In Tallah, they've found a team of dedicated missionaries who, as soon as they take the stage, step on the gas pedal and don't look back.

They cite the early ferocity of bands like Slipknot and Code Orange as a frame of reference, while critics have also noted that their death-defying shows are reminiscent of metalcore legends The Dillinger Escape Plan. Now Tallah are ready to give Roskilde a lesson in extreme intensity with their first ever Danish show.
