"Superpowers" is the title of one of the cuts from Tamara's first EP, Perks of a Wild Heart (2023). And indeed Tamara sounds like a true vocal superheroine as she sings her way into the deep traditions of soul and R&B music with natural authority and glowing nerve.

Tamara grew up in the Faroe Islands, whose raw nature and wide open spaces provide the backdrop for the personal stories that flow into her music. Already as a young girl, she wrote her own songs in her room in the small village of Fuglafjørður.

Now the whole world is opening up to Tamara, who in recent years has made a name for herself not only through a series of strong singles, but also through an unprecedented live class, where a strong presence, a dazzling band and rare vocals unleash the soulful landscapes of her songs.

In just a few years, Tamara has established herself as an artist who embraces the full soul and R&B spectrum, from sweaty grooves and epic hooks to sensual ballads and intimate songwriting. A rapidly developing talent that we look forward to seeing at Roskilde Festival.
