The two phenomenal singers Y-Bayani & Baby Naa are ready to spread an infectious new branch of Ghanaian music with their Band of Enlightenment, Reason & Love. Blending Ghana's rich highlife tradition with warm reggae rhythms they create a cinematic soundscape that truly spreads light, love and positivity.

The band came about when legendary producer and label boss Max Weissenfeldt met Y-Bayani & Baby Naa on one of his many trips to Ghana. He was captivated by their natural vocal talent and their sense of soulful reggae, and they began collaborating. Soon a strong team of musicians was assembled to fulfill the vision, which led to the outstanding album Nsie Nsie (2020).

The result is beautiful, healing, and groovy music, where deep basslines, synths, horns and the reggae pulse of the drums create a sound that combines Afrofuturism with a warm retro vibe. And it's the perfect lush backdrop for Y-Bayani & Baby Naa's passionate voices.
