On his latest album, Gumbo from 2023, Atlanta rapper Young Nudy relates all song titles to food. And like a skilled chef, he manages to combine familiar elements from hip-hop history into his own well-seasoned and sometimes bizarre tracks. 

Young Nudy is the cousin of 21 Savage, who will also be at this year's Roskilde Festival, and he has collaborated with the star rapper on several occasions, including on the hit "Peaches and Eggplants" from Gumbo. Still, Young Nudy has clearly created his own style that is more playful and variegated with experimental productions, psychedelic atmospheres and dives into disturbing horrorcore, as seen on the acclaimed 2021 album Dr. Ev4l. 

Alongside his regular studio albums, Young Nudy has made a name for himself with a number of mixtapes, including his Slimeball mixtape series. Together with one of his regular collaborators, producer Pi'erre Bourne, he released the Sli'merre mixtape in 2019, which featured appearances from the likes of Lil Uzi Vert and Megan Thee Stallion and received excellent reviews from Pitchfork and others. 

Now he's ready to bring his slimy, psychedelic and sci-fi inspired hip-hop universe to Roskilde, and you can expect a captivating and unpredictable experience from the experimental rapper.
