Do you want to be part of making a difference? Are you passionate about making the world a better place and reducing waste? Do you want to make a difference during the festival, by being part of an amazing team that works hard to reduce the amount of waste created?
Age demand: Above 18 years
Language requirements: Danish and/or English
A collaboration with ReAct
We collaborate with ReAct, who has a mission to change “garbage into gold”. The job is to communicate this message to the many festivalgoers.
During your shifts, you will be interacting with a lot of festivalgoers and your primary job will be to talk about how they can make the biggest impact by collecting garbage/gold during the festival. You will be equipped with garbage bags and gloves. However, the purpose is NOT that you collect trash, but your mission is rather to inspire people to pick up their own trash at the festival.
What is your role?
According to the above, your role will be to talk with festivalgoers and to inspire them to make the festival a cleaner – and more sustainable – place. That includes entering into dialogue with festivalgoers.
You will become part of a team of about 20 people, including a supervisor. A garbage collection truck will drive around with the team and you will carry out your sustainable mission by driving around the festival camping area.
You will work 4 x 8 hour shifts. Working hours are from 8:30 to 16:30. Therefore, it will not be possible to work evening or night shifts.
If you are interested in being part of this unique team, please write Daniel Behr at Daniel.firstname.lastname@example.org.
The latest date for application is the 15. June 2019.
