Jump in an orange west, support a good cause, become a part of a volunteer community and gain access to the entire festival!
Age demand: you must be 18 at festival start
Language requirements: English
Now you have the chance to become a part of our team of about 250 volunteers at this year’s Roskilde Festival.
Again this year, Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (Action Aid Denmark) has been given the task of providing service guards to the staff campsite – and we want you to join!
Your work helps raise money and this helps support young people from El Salvador working for social change. And of course your volunteer wristband will give you access to all of Roskilde Festival!
What do you have to do and what will you get in return?
Your work as a volunteer will consist of 4 shifts of 8 hours – 32 hours in total. We are service guards at the staff campsite, which means that we patrol the campsite making sure that it stays clean, calm and a nice place to be. Specifically, this means making sure the tents are in the right places, that people are not to noisy and that it all stays clean.
The staff campsite is the cleanest and most calm of all the camping areas at the festival because it is there for the volunteers to rest and sleep during the festival. Since our work at the campsite stretches across more days than the festival itself there will be plenty of opportunity to take shifts before and after the festival.
For you efforts we give you a wristband to access the entire festival, snacks and alike during shifts, a community of volunteers and access to the staff campsite where you will be able to camp.
What do you support?
When you volunteer with us, Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke gets money for each volunteer we bring to the festival. This money goes to a project in El Salvador in Central America. They fight for more ownership and better social conditions for the marginalised civil society.
