Alexander Tillegreen primarily works in disciplines such as painting, text, performance and sound installation.
For Roskilde Festival 2019, Tillegreen creates a spacious installation where means like lighting, drawings and layers of sound from different origin are combined.
When experiencing Tillegreen’s work, narratives and meaning-making arise which appear to draw on autobiographical elements anchored in more universally inclined considerations of perception and formation of personality.
Tillegreen has graduated from The Cooper Union School of Art, New York, and Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Kunst Städelschule, Frankfurt, in 2017.
Alexander Tillegreen exhibits in Art Zone at Roskilde Festival 2019 as part of The Bikuben Foundation’s studio programme
