Ea Kaya has been hailed as the next pop success.
She started out armed with an acoustic guitar, recording covers of acts like Katy Perry and Britney Spears, which she uploaded to her Youtube page. That goes as far back as 2008 when she was just 12 years old (look here), and she’s stuck with the music ever since.
In 2017, Ea Kaya released her first single “Remedy”, and judging from the reactions on various blogs and music sites (look here, here and here), she were on the right path. A path defined by the likes of other Scandipop singers like MØ, Sigrid, Tove Lo and Zara Larsson.
The 23-year-old singer dropped a handful more singles before she released her debut EP Fragile But Strong As Hell in 2019. A collection of songs about the ups and downs of love. The EP includes the hit ballad “4 AM” which has been airplayed quite a lot this winter on Danish radio station P3.
Ea Kaya is a singer to watch out for. She’s going places. And before she heads towards the stars you should catch her on our Countdown stage at Roskilde Festival 2019.
