FATOUMATA DIAWARA (ML)

Genre: Rootsy Malian pop

  • Some may have discovered her voice when she collaborated with UK house duo Disclosure
  • She sings about female empowerment
  • She is a successful actress as well
  • Fatoumata Diawara has played Roskilde Festival as part of the Damon Albarn-led Africa Express
  • Now, armed with a guitar and a stunning voice, she is ready to take on the festival singlehandedly

  • His productions are abrasive and fractured
  • He attacks racist internet trolls, hipsters, cops and pop stars

  • He’s all over the place, calling out for moshpits
