DIZZY MIZZ LIZZY (DK)

Saturday 29.06.96 - 02:30 - Green

The story of DML is the story of three teenagers who won the Danish Championship of Rock in 1993, and sold a record-breaking 180.000 copies of their debut album in Denmark and another 100.000 in Japan.

To top it off, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy were awarded no less than three Danish Grammies. How can a band that's just starting out top such a huge success? Simply by recognizing that it can't be done and that the only honest way to continue the band would be to do another album, but this time more like DML wanted it: More mature, less polished, more Dizzy Mizz Lizzy.

The "difficult" second album called Rotator was released in April this year. An album brimming with raw energy, tearing guitar riffs and classic rock'n'roll. It was very well received by the critics, all the concerts following the release have been sold out, and with songs like "11:07", the band has made a rocking comeback to the air play charts.
