Groundation is a group of white musicians from California. The band is conscious of the call of reggae all the while they dare go into new directions. Playful improvisations surface now and again – but the extremely well-playing musicians never let go of the fundamental, comfortable groove for that reason.

Warm, elevating and spiritual roots reggae is not a question of skin colour nor origin but of musical heart, joy of playing and soul. Groundation is proof of this.
