Book access to area at the camp site

This year Roskilde Festival offers free advance booking of access to selected camping spaces.

Where will you camp this year? This question can often not be answered before you are just outside the gates of Roskilde Festival. But this year, you and your fellow festival-goers can decide from home where you want to camp. In 2010, you can book access to a camp area in advance.

Book a space in a larger area
The camp site is divided into larger areas, each with its own letter (for example, see last year’s map), and some of these are the areas in which you can book a space. You cannot book a single, specific camp square. Each area can accommodate thousands of festival guests (it varies depending on size).

The arrangement will expectedly include 5-6 areas at the camp site.

Some of the most popular and centrally located areas are not included in the booking system. Like previous years, it is on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to book an area

  • Booking of camping space is done in collaboration with a ticket operator with experience and resources to handle such orders.
  • Each area has space for a certain number of people, and when an area is full, you can no longer book in this area but have to choose another area.
  • Area booking is free of charge, and you can book when buying a ticket, and if you already have a ticket you can also register. We are also working on a solution for volunteers.
  • You can only book space for one person and not for an entire camp. But you are welcome to bring other people’s tents.

Booking only valid the first 24 hours
Your area booking is only valid the first day, from Saturday 26 June at 18:00 to Sunday 27 June at 18:00. Afterwards, all areas are open for everyone.

Some details still have to be cleared but area booking is ready within a couple of months. At that time we will tell you more details about the conditions.
