Tuesday 02.02.10 Trial against Roskilde Festival at Danish Supreme Court droppedIn this case the family wanted to place a liability and to be found in favour of a greater financial claim for Roskilde Festival having violated the family's human rights. Roskilde Festival has always considered it its responsibility to assist the families with offers of dialogue, information and financial support and thus seek to help to mitigate the significant loss that the families have suffered. The offer has been open, and Roskilde Festival has until 2009 paid amounts to the families. Both in the police investigations that took place after the accident and in subsequent proceedings at the High Court of Eastern Denmark, Roskilde Festival has been acquitted of criminal liability and tort liability in connection with the accident. |
