Roskilde Festival is the quintessence of music, beer, jeans full of holes and do-it-yourself in all inconceivable styles. Here you do not wave at waiters nor sleep on fresh sheets. But if you have a need of room service, bellboys and 'do not disturb' signs, then Get A Tent is worth considering… without guaranteeing too much …

What is Get A Tent?

If the festival blood in your veins should suddenly turn blue, or if you cannot bother with pitching your own tent, then you can buy a ticket to Roskilde Festival which includes a pre-pitched tent. This means that you buy a Get A Tent ticket and stop worrying about the camping race for the best spots.

You can buy the following two types of Get A Tent tickets:

• A festival ticket
• A 1-2-person igloo tent (210 x 210 cm)
• One wristband giving access to hot showers

• A festival ticket
• A 1-4-person igloo tent (440 x 220 cm)
• Two wristbands giving access to hot showers

Facilities

Get A Tent camping offers everything that a festival-goer desires. First of all, there is free access to hot showers which are included in the Get A Tent ticket. Furthermore, the Get A Tent area also has an organic food stall, beer sale, lavatories and a bonfire place.

Volume and position

Get A Tent has grown and changed drastically since it was first introduced in 2003. In 2010 we pitch 500 small and 500 large tents at the area. When you are in the mood for music, the festival site and all the stages are not far away – just a walking distance.

Guests

Camping at Get A Tent is certainly not like being isolated from the rest of the festival guests. You are welcome to share your tent with others, but access to showers does only apply to the ones with shower wristbands. Feel free to invite others to the Get A Tent area. Of course, they can also buy food and other goods like everyone else.

Freedom

The tent is yours, and you can do with it what you please. If you want to move it – perhaps to another corner of the camping area – you just do so. Get A Tent is total festival freedom.

Price

Get A Tent SMALL and Get A Tent LARGE cost more then the standard ticket, but it is not expensive. In 2010 SMALL costs DKK 2,225 (approx. € 299) and LARGE costs DKK 2,700 (approx. € 362).
