Roskilde Festival recommends that everyone uses public transportation or rides their bicycle to the festival. It’s better for the environment and means that we can use the areas for camping instead.

However, we understand the need for some to arrive by car. Therefore, you will find parking areas at Roskilde Festival.

The parking areas are located in East and West and are open from Friday 28 June at 16:00 until Sunday 7 July at 14:00 (see maps).

You can choose between parking for the full week or for one day only. One-day parking are open at Parking West from Sunday 30 June at 8:00 – Sunday 7 July at 14.00 (see map). One-day parking tickets are valid from 8am until 8am the next day.

Roskilde Festival always recommend our audience to use public transportation. However, we understand the need for some to arrive by car. Therefore, you will find parking areas at Roskilde Festival.

All parking areas are open 24 hours a day.

Please note that accommodation in cars is under no circumstances allowed.

Disabled Parking
Disabled Parking can be found by all sales parking and Gate 3 (Maglegårdsvej). The car must be supplied with a Blue Badge Parking Permit clearly visible in the front window.

When arriving from volunteer check-In, the closest Disabled Parking will be by Gate 3 (Maglegårdsvej). We recommend using the Disabled Parking spots by West and East, which are best suited for those passing through those entrances.

All spots are first come, first serve. Disabled Parking is mainly for guests with one-day tickets. Camping guests are encouraged to find parking elsewhere during the festival.

Parking at HandiCamp
Access to HandiCamp is solely given to cars supplied with lifesaving equipment. Parking in this area is only permitted after approved application to Disabled Service. In this case you will be supplied with a parking permit by the Disabled Service. The car must remain in the area of the HandiCamp you have applied for from arrival till the end of your stay. You cannot go back and forth during your stay.
