Community camping is what we call the areas where you sign up for a little extra. If you feel a special responsibility towards the community and would like to give something back (and get something in return), this is for you.
Silent & Clean is for those of you who wish to stay in an area where we help each other keep the area clean, and where there are no noisy parties or constant loud music.
This is an add-on to make your experience more comfortable. You will still need a ticket to Roskilde Festival to access the festival. If you are two people staying in a tent together, you must both have a voucher to get access.
Silent & Clean will be under supervision, and everybody is encouraged to help each other make sure the area is a nice place to be. Music played from any kind of stereo is prohibited in the Silent & Clean area between 22:00 and 10:00.
Your reservation for Silent & Clean is valid from Saturday 25 June at 16:00 to Sunday 26 June at 16:00.
If you book pre-access to Silent & Clean, we make sure that you will get access to the area before everyone else and make sure that there is a space booked for your tent when you arrive. This information will latest be given a week before the festival.
Sunday 26 June at 16:00 the area will open for everyone.
Help us and the environment – let’s make a sustainable festival
When staying at Silent & Clean, you must keep the area clean. Waste must be sorted. When you leave your area, it must be cleaned up and in the same condition as when you arrived. Left and damaged equipment on the camping site is not collected or recycled but discarded. So, bring your stuff home or hand it in to our recycling stations.
Arrival and access to the area
You don’t need a special wristband to enter the Silent & Clean area. Everyone with a regular festival wristband has access, but the area is reserved for you until Sunday 26 June at 16:00.
If you and your friends want to camp next to each other, buy your tickets as part of the same order.
If that’s not possible, fill in this form after purchase with your names, e-mails and tickets order numbers and we will do what we can to help. Deadline: 1 June.
When we’re living together at Roskilde Festival, we need to keep our community fantastic. This also means that we need to take care of our beautiful festival grounds. We want to break with the throw-away culture. The green future of the planet is our joint responsibility.
When you actively reduce, sort and recycle before, during and after Roskilde Festival, you’re making a huge difference.
