The young rap poet is one of the most exciting voices in the Danish hip-hop scene

This rapper is one of the most vibrant, relevant and representative of today’s youth.

Artigeardit (civil name Ardit Aliti) has something most other Danish rappers don’t have. He has his own voice. He is both lyrical and poetic.

The 22-year-old rapper is on a winning streak.

In 2018, he released his debut album VILDEDAGE (‘wild days’) which takes its listener into the young party life full of binges and girls but also downer stuff like taking the bus or being too lazy to do stuff. It was a much-anticipated follow-up to 2016’s EP Fristelse fordærver (‘temptation corrupts’). That same year Artigeardit also played our stage for upcoming talent, Countdown.

The Danish rapper doesn’t rest on the laurels. He knows that today’s music scene, the rap scene, in particular, is a fast, ever-changing game.

In 2019, he released five new songs on the 2.0 EP. As the title indicates, this is an update, a new version of Ardit. According to Ardit himself, this is just a foretaste of things to come. He is levelling up.

So, of course, he should be a part of the main programme at Roskilde Festival 2019.

When Artigeardit plays live, he's all the way out on the edge of the stage floor, rapping and singing directly to his audience. Experience a 2.0 version of that this summer!
