On the very last day of Roskilde Festival 2019, you can look forward to an evening of three of Berlin’s greatest experimental electronic artists. It’s all going down in the new Ambereum (located between Art Zone and the Arena stage) from 22-03.
Boris: A true Berlin legend. Having learned the trade in mid-80’s New York, Boris has developed a style that incorporates a broad musical spectrum, from disco, Hi-NRG, post-punk and kraut rock to house and techno – preferably all in one set. Charismatic and uncompromising, Boris has been a resident at Panorama Bar and Berghain.
Virginia: Few, if any, do what she does. Following residencies in her native Munich and Frankfurt, Virginia has held a residency at Berghain’s Panorama Bar since 2012. Her DJ sets fuse warm analogue house and electro of both the 80s and 90s with off-kilter swinging grooves layered with spontaneous live vocals that add a unique third dimension. With a careful mixture of peaks and valleys, her hybrid DJ/live performances command attention.
Roi Perez: The DJ and music enthusiast started playing records in Tel Aviv’s underground queer clubbing since in 2011. After relocating to Berlin in 2013, he continued his personal journey of establishing a coherent, creative and consistent musical language, constantly defining his skills, style and knowledge. His long, eclectic sets offer a dynamic journey through styles and genres, weaving together house and techno with disco and electro.
