Activism is cool again. Everywhere you see people unite in protest to change the world for the better. But the traditional forms of activism – from mass marches to digital advocacy – are no longer effective. When activists behave predictably, their movements tend to fail. So how do you change the world? In this participatory workshop – led by Micah White, co-founder of Occupy Wall Street, a social movement that spread to 82 countries in 2011 – we will explore the future of activism: the tactics and strategies that will eventually spark transformative social change.
