Ready for a house bash? Once this colourful collective start spinning those records, they’re not stopping anytime soon.
Regelbau is a label collective out of Aarhus, Denmark. They’re bringing their four core members to play for five sweet hours straight. You read that correctly – one looong party in the new Ambereum (between Art Zone and the Arena stage).
Regelbau originally got together via a Facebook group for record shopping. They later threw parties in their hometown and started up a record label, named after a German WWII-era bunker where they kept their gear. Since dropping their first official release under the Regelbau banner in 2015, the members have kept very prolific, spitting out releases, some on vinyl some on cassette (nothing on Spotify, they prefer physical releases), on various interconnected record labels, affirming the city of Aarhus on the house music map. Everyone from Resident Advisor to Pitchfork have pricked up their ears.
The core members of Regelbau are brothers Milán and Natal Zaks aka DJ Sports and Central, Christoffer Kejlstrup aka C.K and Mathias Okholm aka Manmade Deejay. They all play together in various configurations. Once you start digging through their releases, you’ll discover enough aliases to make you dizzy (here’s a main entry to Discogs and plenty of links to lead you onwards, if you dare).
When these four acts boot up their gear for a sweaty five-hour session, you are guaranteed stellar dance music!
