Norway's KOSO is an artist-run, female-driven collective aiming to connect and strengthen femme creatives. They also release music and put on bi-monthly club nights in Oslo.
That's the short description. In reality, they are much more: the collective is a safe space for women and female identifying people to evolve in their artistic field whether it's music, dance, film, photography, design, literature or something else. It's a chance to collaborate across platforms and a way for them to promote each other's work.
To support their great work, Roskilde Festival has donated 25,000 NOK to KOSO.
They believe that with greater artistic control and freedom, and with a safety net of other like-minded women, comes greater artistic output and stronger collective bonds. We support that belief.
