LUCY DACUS CANCELS, PENELOPE ISLES STEPS IN INSTEAD

PUBLISHED WEDNESDAY 3.7.2019

Lucy Dacus has vocal cord problems and is forced to cancel her European tour. Penelope Isles will play instead.

Unfortunately, we have been notified that Lucy Dacus is unable to go on her scheduled European tour, including her performance at Roskilde Festival on Thursday 4 July 2019.

Dacus has damaged her vocal cords and doctor’s orders are that she stays at home. This means that all touring is cancelled.

Instead, we have invited Penelope Isles who will play in the available slot on Thursday 4 July 2019 at 16:00. The band is a new, promising indie rock outfit from Brighton, England, whose jangly, nostalgic sounds are stealing attention in their home country. The band has only released a couple of singles so far, but the debut album will be out right after Roskilde Festival.
