THE YOUTH DEMOCRACY FESTIVAL 2019

PUBLISHED WEDNESDAY 4.9.2019

This youth generation is one of the largest ever. However perhaps also the loneliest. Studies find that as many as every tenth young person feels outside any community.

At the same time each and every young person is met with ever increased ambitions, and the need for perfection seem to be represented aswell in the eductional system as on social media.

At the Youth Democracy Festival 2019, Roskilde Festival is present to focus on the future importance of solidarity and community. We have an ambition to support taking a stand and having the courage to make a change.

We believe that a festival can be catalystic in moving young people who want something for more than themselves.
