When live music meets live dancing something special happens. We saw this in 2019 when the dancing company Corpus teamed up with the noise rockers in Baby in Vain and created a wild and expressive show on our Gloria stage.
In 2020, well do it again but with a new performance, a new set-up and new performers: American choreographer Eleanor Bauer, Danish musician Lydmor and Corpus' dancers.
Eleanor Bauer is a renowned choreographer who, despite her young age, has travelled the world with her own performances as well as created performances for some of the world's most renowned dance troupes. For years, Bauer has worked with the relation between dance and music, and with her progressive approach to dancing, she will be of great significance in the future.
Lydmor is a rising star on the Danish music scene. She produces exquisite electro-pop and has a curious approach to performing outside of the common concert formats. She has been a part of dance and theatrical performances at both the Royal Danish Theatre and Aarhus Teater.
Look forward to new music, new dance moves and a unique show when Lydmor and Corpus join forces. It will be wild, tactile and exceedingly sensual.
The performance ”Sensuality Happens” first plays in A-Sal (look here) and then moves to Roskilde Festival 2020 where it will be performed in a customised version on the Gloria stage.
