Introspective indie rock from Danish-Faroese talent

Sometimes life changes, sometimes crises occur, and sometimes you have to look yourself deep in the eye.

This is what Danish-Faroese Brimheim, a stellar indie rock band led by Helena Heinesen Rebensdorff, does.

Expressing herself musically is her way of showing vulnerability.

The name Brimheim is her mother's maiden name and it means 'home of the surf'. There is a Faroese force of nature and an origin inside this project.

Brimheim's debut EP Myself Misspelled speaks directly into the thought of being someone else than the one you actually ended up being. A feeling many people can relate to.

Brimheim's songs are made of the same dark matter as material from artists such as Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen and other like-minded artists. They look inwards. They dwell on emotions, make them strong and luminous – and the end result is fiery indie rock songs so insistent in their sound that you can do nothing but listen.

At Summer Days, Brimheim will join forces with Reveal Party. The two acts have previously worked together on the single ”You Skip My Turn”. So, we’re in the fortunate situation that they will give a concert in an extraordinary setup where the two acts join each other on stage and let their band members and repertoires merge. Two bands, one stage, so much love and a concert experience you won’t forget anytime soon.

Brimheim will play at Summer Days on 4 July alongside Reveal Party and Jung.
