“FVN, don’t ask me again, hoe!”
Yup, a new rapper is in town – and that’s with a lot of big gestures, swaggering braggadocio and a kind of built-in empowerment for anyone listening to make them feel like a 'bad bitch'!
FVN – with the civil name Feven Geles Ghebremichael – is a Danish-Eritrean rapper, and she certainly contributes to the definition of the word 'attitude'. She is simply fab and flippant at the same time.
And she's self-made!
In a short time, she has gotten airplay on radio station P3 in both Denmark and Sweden and received significant publicity in a number of leading magazines.
In 2020, she released her debut EP Twenty Sexy Playlist, which features one quoteable line after another, a cocky and cheeky universe, a distinctly US sound (she raps flawlessly in English) and lots of hooks and solid beats.
Take, for example, the attitude-ladden "Work", which, according to FVN herself, is made to make you feel that you own your own life and decide how to live it.
FVN is a name on its way to owning it all. Follow her on the way up as she takes the stage at Summer Days.
FVN performs at Summer Days on 25 June alongside Amina and Branco.
