Roskilde Festival and the Royal Danish Theatre invite you to four days full of art, music, talks and workshops.
It takes place in a spectacular live setting at Ofelia Plads in Copenhagen. Here you’ll find a work of art by English artist Martin Creed – a large rotating neon sign with the wording UNDERSTANDING. And understanding is precisely what all events will examine.
Admission is free of charge for the three events Time to Activate, Time to Listen and Time to Space Out. However, to ensure a safe experience we kindly ask you to book a ticket in advance – you only pay a small administration fee of DKK 15.
The culminating event Time to Celebrate costs DKK 100 and includes a meal and an algae-infused beer (yes, you read just correctly!).

Time to Activate is an event that examines how art can be activist. The programme offers a talk with artistic activists and activist artists who seek to create movements in our society and to excite our ability to act. The panel offers up body art, music, public art and street art. During the day, we facilitate workshops where you can explore your activist artistic skills. The event is in Danish.
