At The Great School of Insects, we thank the planet's buzzing friends for all their hard work. We do this through a friendship ritual with insect masks, insect buzzing choir with insect instruments – and a final communal bee dance.
Together, we will make insect masks and insect instruments and after the workshop, participants of the Great School of Insects can bring these objects – along with their communicative, interspecies insights – with them into the festival and society at large.
Bureau for Interspecies Communication work with solidarity across all living beings. By inspiring everyone to create and play, their imaginativ and wacky workshops have radical aim: That by dressing up as – and talking to (!) – other species, we recognise them as equal fellow creatures.
When you have completed the workshop, your mind will be open and set on decentralising human beings, seeing the world as one big entangled organism.
