Swedish musician COBRAH is on the rise as one of the most thrilling new voices from the underground fetish scene.

From growing up immersing herself in the thriving metal scene of Gothenburg to discovering the fetish club scene of Stockholm, COBRAH’s DNA is shaped by the captivating places she has been surrounded by.

Her debut song “IDFKA” from 2018 was met with rave reviews. It’s a pulsating slice of minimalist electro pop. With lyrics that spoke to a struggle for self-acceptance, “IDFKA” really stood out. The video was nominated for a Swedish Grammy.

2019 saw the release of COBRAH’s debut EP Icon which celebrated sexual pleasure on bangers like “Wet”, and reflected on darker moments on the menacing “Glue”. Her second EP is self-titled and came out in 2021. It builds further on the self-assured slab of sexy, celebratory wonky-pop that has become COBRAH’s brand. The hyper-pop stomper “Good Puss” stands out and celebrates her queer identity as well as what the song literally says.

Both releases are out on her own imprint GAGBALL.

When COBRAH takes the stage you can expect lots of heavy bass music that will make your insides vibrate. COBRAH will be clad in a high-shine black costume like all the animated black figures from her music videos. She brings a DJ and a VJ and rebuilds the material to add an extra live experience.
