Trap-infused R&B music – sung in both English and Albanian

She is popular in Kosovo. In her home country of Sweden they don’t know much about her.

Take notice of the name Dafina. She sings to make your heart melt – even though you can’t always understand the words she’s singing.

Dafina Zeqiri is a singer-songwriter with family roots in Kosovo although she was born and raised in Sweden. She sings her songs both in English and Albanian.

Try giving her singles “Four Season” and “Told Ya” a spin – they will take you straight into a lush and cool R&B universe.

She began singing at the age of 10, performing her own songs at a children’s festival in Sweden. Her talent was obvious, and she gained it naturally from her mother, Melihate Zeqiri, who was herself a singer.

At the age of 17, Dafina gained popularity in Kosovo and started winning awards. In recent years, she’s also attracted international attention.

In 2021, Dafina dropped her latest album, Dafinë Moj, on which she collaborates with a wide range of Albanian acts (one of them is her own mother!). The songs present an exciting mix of trap-infused R&B and folk elements from the south-eastern part of Europa.

Dance to the soothing sounds of Dafina when she plays Roskilde Festival 2022.
